Welcome to JamWave!
Here is a sample entry to show you some of the basics (this entry is private - only you can see it)
Adding New Entries - to add a new blog entry to your site, just click the 'Add Entry' link in your menu above. When you click the link, you will be taken to another page for adding a blog entry. The new entry will appear where this one is now.
Editing Your Entries - to edit your entry, click the 'edit' link at the bottom of your entry. You have to be logged in to see this link. When you click the link, you will be taken to another page for editing the current entry.
Public and Private Entries - this entry is private, which means only you can see it. You can make your entries 'public' (for anyone to read) or 'private' (only you will see it). You can also toggle this setting back and forth by clicking the 'Public/Private' link at the bottom of each entry.
Customizing Your Entry: - If you are using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, you can drag and drop images and other items from another ie browser window into your entry and use MS Word style formatting through the toolbar.
If you are an artist, you can create entries for advertising gigs. For example, if you have an image of a flyer on your home page just drag and drop it into your entry while you are in edit mode. For other browsers you can use HTML in your entries but you do not have the MS Word style toolbar or the drag and drop functionality.
Good luck and have fun with your weblog
