Bio / History

This is a band that features Guitarist Roscoe Peterson. Roscoe has played with, Sly and the Family Stone, Sugarcane Harris,Clarence clemons, Harvey Mandel, and every good gigging band in south FL. The bands two cd's, Code Blooze and Soul Searchin are cult favorites and they regularly tour the eastern seaboard where they are quite popular. Roscoe can be heard on recordings by many artist including Clarence Clemmons and Harvey Mandell. We hope you enjoy our music.

Yeah Bro that is small world stuff. I'm a 79' Cooper Ciry High grad I think Mike was 79' or 80' can't remember. I lived across the bridge from the Lil' General store on SW 90th in Cooper City I exchanged emails with him probably 7 or 8 years ago thru an alumni site. He was in LA and still playing in Bands and trying to make a go as an actor and a model.

Man Roscoe the garage bands I knew changed names and members as often as we fought. I remember a few names of people...  Like Mike Jauqes and Phil Sloane. I'm better at faces. I left the area in the summer of 79 after High School. We played mostly at big keg parties off of griffen road somewhere. You ever run into a guy named Van Lopez? He owned Unversial Music on Griffen road. Thats where I started learning guitar.

I hear you Roscoe.. there are some great young Indie musicians out there. I rarely turn the radio on any more unless its on the internet. At least the old guitar slingers are still available on CD so these young people can rediscover them. How's the music scene down there in Hollywood. I started playing guitar back in 76' when I attended Cooper City High. Tons of garage bands back then. - Rob

Hello, Roscoe!

I've downloaded your Queen medley - and listened to it several times. Great live performance ( I have to confess again I regret not being able to be in the audience at any of your gigs). Of course it is lead guitar based (you know how to make the guitar carry the song - I hope my choice of words is OK), ie, the way I love rock songs. Yeah, the power trio concept isn't dead - not by a long shot. I have just posted two power trio videos on YouTube under JohnnyLennon2008 (go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAT9UQy_Ip4 for one of them, or search for Kajtar Arpad, aka Storyteller Guitar). The trio in question involves two people who are pushing 60 and yet it blew the audience away from second one. Thanks for a most enjoyable listen!
